Why We Started This Project
This virtual Farmers Market grew out of our frustration with selling at Farmers Markets where you hope to have what customers need, but invariably you don’t have enough and sell out, or worse yet you brought too much and have to go home after sitting for hours with products which might have a limited shelf life. As buyers, we’ve gone to markets hoping to find a particular item, only to return empty-handed because there was no way to know ahead of time if that item would be at the market or not.
We're building a vibrant, community-driven network where Producers can share their stories and Customers can enjoy healthy, local food they trust. By working together, we're strengthening our local food system, supporting small producers, and ensuring every meal brings our community closer.
